Want to learn how to create lovely wool paintings? You've come to the right place! The speciality of my technique lies in the attention to detail. Many of my students refer to this method as the ”two-hair” technique. You'll learn it quickly and end up delighting yourself and others with your stunning creations!

This course is the result of decades of development and is probably the most complete wool painting course in the world. I've put together everything I've learned over the years. You'll create butterflies, birds, flowers, berries and much more using both needle and wet felting. Once you master the technique, only your imagination will set the limits!

During the course you will produce several stunning works - at least eight paintings using different techniques. You don't need to have any previous experience of felting. The course is also perfect for beginners! You don't need drawing or painting skills; you just need to have the enthusiasm and desire to learn.

The course content unfolds section by section at specific intervals to make learning easy and enjoyable. This way, we ensure that you have enough time to complete each step. You can progress through the course at your own pace. The learning material is designed from easy to more challenging to ensure your success.

The course is not just for crafts - you will also learn how to build a successful business around crafts. I'll offer valuable practical tips on marketing, branding and sales. This combination of creativity and business skills makes this course unique!

The course lasts about three months, with you attending tasks once or twice a week, using about an hour or two at a time. You will have access to the course materials throughout the year. During the course, you will make at least eight stunning paintings using a variety of techniques, as well as learning how to earn a living from the craft you love.

Coursework does not take much time! I understand that you have other responsibilities in your life besides felting. However, with regular practice you will learn better and with higher quality. Get your first lesson immediately after payment, and then new learning material will be made available on a weekly basis to give you enough time to learn.

Frequently asked Questions

How long is the course and how often there are training sessions?

The total duration of the course is about three months. The course consists of three major sections: needle felting, watercolor painting and mix technique.

All materials (texts and videos) are available online on the training platform. The lessons are published in a specific order so that you have enough time to study and practise your skills. You can watch the learning material as many times as you want during the year. So there is plenty of time to study!

Approximately how long should you allow for a one-off session?

A big positive feature of my online courses is that you can practise whenever you want and for as long as you want. You can stop at any time and resume when you have time again.

My courses are made up of parts/lessons, which I recommend you complete in order. The time taken to complete the assignments will vary depending on the level of the material studied and the experience/skills of the student. It usually takes about 30-70min per lesson (some do it faster and some need more time). Everyone is different and this is perfectly normal.

Approximately how much will the materials needed for the course cost? Do you provide the pictures, or do you have to choose the pictures yourself? If from you, do you have the colour suggestions and quantities needed to know what to order and how much. And if your own photos, how do I know how much to order and how do I know the right shades?

The amount of wool in the course varies greatly depending on how much you intend to practice. On a very positive note, drawing with my technique does not require a lot of wool and its shades. To get started you will need basic colours, up to 10-30 grams each. Good to know that my students get a discount on my partner's online shop.

I consider my main task in teaching to be teaching technology. Once you master the technique, you have no more limits to your creativity. To complete the assignments, I recommend using the visual materials provided in the course, as they help you learn the subject quickly and conveniently. However, you can use your own colours if you wish.

The lessons answer many questions about the material and its quantity. You do not need to have all the necessary materials before starting the course. Perhaps even better if you can get them later, when you know more about wool and my technique. All will become clear in time.

Is there a certain school day always or how does it work?

Learning is as flexible as it can be. Everyone puts in as much time as they can and want to. Students get access to new learning material once a week. If you don't have time to practice at a certain pace, no harm done. You still have at least a year to work. Good to remember that you can ask your questions as long as you have access to the course. I will also check your homework in person.

Through which wools are procured or are they included in the course material?

Supplies are provided by the course participants themselves. Participants will receive a discount on felting wool from my partners.

Is a smartphone enough to register for this course or should I have a computer and a printer?

The course can be viewed on all devices. a mobile phone is sufficient.

Work environment and materials

P.S. You do not need to have any wool or other material before the training starts. Take your time. You will receive a lesson where I will cover information on wool for wet weaving and other decorative fibers. With good and right materials you will have fun felting and you will succeed. I will also give you tips on where to buy the materials. The training will give you the opportunity to develop your own skills.
