Felting needle with reverse counter hooks

(reverse felting needle)

This special felting needle works in the opposite way to a normal felting needle. While a regular needle pushes the wool fibres deeper and seals the surface, the needle with reverse counter-holes lifts the fibres back to the surface. This gives the surface a fluffy, hairy and lively texture.

This makes the needle an excellent tool for creating hairy or soft surfaces in needle felting. The reverse needle is often used, for example, to finish animal figures, especially the fur of long-haired animals.

The needle is thin but durable, and if used correctly, it has a long life. For best results, the needle is usually used at the finishing stage of the job, when the felted surface is already formed and you want to add some hair or texture.

This felting needle is suitable for both amateurs and more experienced felters who want to add realistic surfaces and new expressive possibilities to their work in needle felting.
