Many people think they are unlucky because they would like to start felting, but do not trust that they will learn.
Someone experiences misfortune in their work when the dimensions don’t hit the noise and the hat becomes too small or the work doesn’t stain as it should. Or the needle broke during felting. It is unfortunate. But these are such small and insignificant things.
Do you want me to tell you when you are really unlucky?
When you can’t live even one day the way you plan and want. When you work in a place that you hate with all your heart. When you want to change your life but don’t do anything about it. When you are not pursuing your dreams. You want to go and study something, but you don’t dare. You think you won’t succeed and you won’t even find out.
I have had a lot of students who have come really scared because they had a huge fear. Fear that they will not learn and will not succeed.
But:
They transcended themselves and wanted to try. They practiced, took lessons, and did not give up. By the end of the course, they have had tears in their eyes because they did an incredibly beautiful job and were happy that they tried and succeeded. I have often heard the words from their mouths: “is this really what I did”?
I am immensely proud of just about every student I own and what they have done. That's why I always say don't give up, felt!

I was not born in a needle
I’ve heard a lot from you that I’m a natural talent and I’m really skilled and a master at my job. You do a great job. Against that, “-Yeah just when I was born with this skill”.
Many think that beautiful works are created only for those who are natural talents. And they hesitate to know their own skills that they would never know how to do.
They think that if I had talent for this kind of thing, I would.
Slightly the same thing as…
As soon as I find a life partner for myself then my life changes and everything would be easier. Everything is really the other way around.

First you start to do and practice, you fail, you learn from failures and yet after that you still try. You gather information and there will be skill along the way. Everything gets easier every time you do.
Then you learn and you have accumulated knowledge and skill that you can apply. At this point, you will find that there does not have to be natural talent. Or be born with this skill.
Natural talent or Talent is just the result of YOUR practice, new learning and experience. You will then notice how people see your skill and admire the imprint of your hand. When you hesitate and look for where you could be good and say to yourself, “you can’t, however,” you don’t get anything for a while and you don’t achieve anything.
But when you arouse curiosity in yourself and decide to try what this might feel you will be so surprised.
Curiosity:
Could you enjoy the process of doing it? Enjoy the handling of wool, feel its soft material in your hand, mix colors with each other and try what it could become. Only by experimenting do you realize the important thing that the most important thing is the process and not the end result.

The fact that you enjoy, give love to the process, try something new, use the knowledge and skill you learn, then that is Talent.
Of course, when you combine all these things, then the end result is perfect.
