    Last week, from 19-24 June 2017, the summer academy organised a big event on the coast of Norway, ”Wool in Nature”. Felters from Norway, Finland, Canada, Denmark, Scotland and Ireland came to the small fishing village of Kalvåg. The week's programme included felting courses, demonstrations and a project called ”Wool in Nature”. Most of the programme was held at the gallery, Galleri Frøya.     I've long wanted to visit the land of the Vikings, the Lofoten Islands, its fjords, and explore Viking-age crafts. We travelled by car with the family to Sweden, from where we continued our journey to Norway. Our camping gear included a tent, a stove, and sleeping bags.     A canoe trip on the Ivalo River in Lapland is a place where the eyes can rest. It's a stunning area in any case, where everyday life is forgotten.
